Who is Dr Jamie?
Dr Jamie Lam has served the community as a health professional for over 13 years with degrees in both Pharmacy and Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney.
He was drawn to healthcare and inspired by his grandfather who consistently demonstrates empathy and whole-hearted commitment towards his patients as a skilful general surgeon.
Because his partner has a genuine phobia when it comes to dentists and dental treatment, Jamie has a true understanding of the fear and confrontation dentistry can bring to a lot of people. This is why he really focuses on providing a calming, reassuring and gentle demeanour when interacting with his patients, and treats them with the same level of respect as he would his own family.
Jamie believes in good communication with patients to ensure that he has a sound understanding of what the patient would like to achieve aesthetically and functionally. He constantly strives for excellence and works closely with patients to help them re-discover their confident smiles.
Jamie’s passion is smile reconstruction and aesthetic design. He is continually challenging himself and keeps up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in dentistry.

A little more about Jamie
Jamie was born in Hong Kong. After discovering and falling in love with Australia during a family trip in 1995, Jamie’s family relocated to Sydney and have been enjoying their lives here since.
Jamie attended both primary and high school in Killara on the North Shore. Following his completion of high school, Jamie went on to study Pharmacy at the University of Sydney and work locally within his community.
Having developed experience in healthcare, Jamie then pursued further education to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney and has loved his work since.
When Jamie is not busy working as a dentist, you might find him spending time with his favourite 14 year old puppy around the local parks and beaches.
